Finalist in Indie Excellence Book Award

It was such a thrill for me to receive notice of being a finalist in the Indie Excellence Book Awards.  After several years of feverishly writing novels and children’s books, I had been encouraged to enter a few contests.  Whether I’m winning or I’m just in the running, it was wonderful for my book, Restitution, to be acknowledged on an international scope.  You have more of a reason now to pick it up and read it and understand why its finale was the perfect scenario as a sequel to Keeping Secrets.  Does it sit you on the edge?  Absolutely.  It was also not easy for me to be in the mind of a sociopath day after day.  Thanks heavens for my being able to write children’s books on social skills and be on the positive side of life.
