Henry McPhee was a bright and beautiful young frog, just coming into maturity. He had everything, ” If only he was more comfortable in his own skin!” His head felt too large and his legs, too weak. Discouraged by his many attempts at bug-catching on the lily pads (and subsequent growing hunger!), he decided to seek out Grandfather, Croaker McPhee for help. Croaker was delighted to help Henry and lend his experience; with very few words, he modeled his skills, teaching Henry the valuable lesson of focusing on his goal, patience and practice. One can only imagine the gleeful and satisfied groans of delight at the pond in Abbazee at mealtime and Henry’s joyful smile!
